Jambi Province Quarter IV-2019 Consumer Tendency Index of 108.09

Abstract

Jambi Provincial Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in quarter IV-2019 was 108.09, meaning that consumers' perceptions of the economy in quarter IV-2019 were relatively good and more optimistic compared to quarter III-2019.
The economic condition of these consumers is mainly due to the variable influence of inflation on consumption which contributed to the index value of 113.18 and the effect of an increase in consumption volume with an index value of 111.71; while an increase in income contributed to the index value of 103.85.
Meanwhile consumer perceptions of the economy of Jambi Province in the first quarter of 2020 are estimated to remain good and optimistic with a record value of ITK of 107.59.
