Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in September 2019 was 98.36, up 2.27 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which rose by 1.45 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) fell by 0.80 percent.
In September 2019, the Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 97.08 for the Food Crop subsector (NTPP); 93.90 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 98.35 for the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 103.15 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.55 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 115.16 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 95.21.
Rural deflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 1.04 percent. Deflation occurred in one group of household consumption, namely the Foodstuffs group. Inflation occurred in six household consumption groups namely the Food, Beverage, Cigarettes and Tobacco groups; Housing group; Clothing group; Health group; the Education, Recreation and Sports group and the Transportation and Communication group.
The Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) of Jambi Province in September 2019 was 107.25, up 1.30 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
