The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) specifically designed to collect employment data. Sakernas is held twice a year, namely in February and August. In general, the aim of collecting Sakernas data for February 2024 is to provide basic sustainable employment data. In particular, the February 2024 Sakernas aims to obtain data estimates on the number of employed people, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators, as well as representative developments at the national and provincial levels. Starting from Sakernas February 2024, data collection will be carried out using the computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) mode, namely the FASIH application, except for some areas in Papua Province which still use the Paper and Pencils Interviewing (PAPI) mode. In order to improve the February 2024 Sakernas census, several changes were made to the content and flow of questions on the E-Form. Sakernas data and information collection was carried out using direct or face-to-face interviews with households as selected samples. Data and information collected in Sakernas February 2024 include individual characteristics, school participation, education and training, migration, disability, main job and main additional job, activities looking for work or preparing for a new business, work experience domestically and abroad, as well as activities other. Sakernas also captures information on the implementation of government programs in the form of pre-employment programs and independent campuses. The data produced through Sakernas is very important, so efforts are needed to improve the quality of data at Sakernas February 2024. One of these efforts is the Sakernas regional instructor training in February 2024. Regional instructors (inda) are tasked with continuing to deliver material to field officers as the spearhead of data collection . Head of BPS Muaro Jambi Regency, Mrs. Muji Lestari assigned Mrs. Rizki Ananda Fauziah and Mrs. Naning Savitri to take part in the February 2024 Inda Sakernas Training activities organized by BPS Jambi Province. Inda Sakernas February training activities will be held starting Friday, January 12 2024 using the Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) method on the BPS RI Learning Management System (LMS). Then it was continued with a distance learning system (PJJ) via Zoom Meeting media from 15 - 18 January 2024. The total number of participants who took part in the training from BPS Jambi Province was 25 participants. Through the Inda Sakernas Training activities in February 2024, it is hoped that there will be uniform understanding of the concepts and definitions used when carrying out enumeration and supervision of Sakernas. After the training activity, Inda can continue to deliver the material to field officers with the concepts and definitions that have been understood. Understanding the concept of employment is very important to be able to identify residents who are included in the labor force, non-labor force, employed or unemployed groups.
