August 24, 2022 | BPS Activities

Regsosek as a momentum for collaboration in organizing statistics for social protection. According to Law No. 11 of 2009 social protection is all efforts directed at preventing and dealing with social vulnerabilities. One of the reforms of the social protection system, the Central Bureau of Statistics is given the task of updating socio-economic registration data (Regsosek). This is in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 122 of 2020 which states that there is an improvement in the target of poverty reduction programs through improvement of DTKS which will gradually be expanded to 60 percent in 2021 and towards 100 percent Social Registration in 2024. Socio-Economic Registration or Regsosek is a form of concrete action by the government's commitment to perfecting the socio-economic system and database for the entire population of Indonesia so that development can be carried out on target. Head of BPS Muaro Jambi Regency, Irna Afrianti S.Si, ME in delivering directions at the monthly meeting activities of BPS Muaro Jambi Regency informed that Regsosek activities will be carried out starting September 2022. The big role of BPS in this important activity requires great cooperation and commitment from all internal BPS , BPS partners, as well as collaboration between local government agencies. BPS Muaro Jambi Regency is expected to involve 673 data collectors to work together to complete this important activity. The initial Regsosek data collection is a big mandate for BPS that we need to guard together.
